Our Practice

Welcome to Dr. Norm's!

At Dr. Norm’s Animal Hospital, family and relationships come first. We want to get to know you and your pets and want you to know us too. A veteran of the Armed Forces, Dr. Norman Spencer was a Navy diver/submariner and an Army veterinarian for over 10 years. Our practice is a family-friendly environment, and we invite children to follow along with the vet as their pets are examined. We even provide stuffed animals so the kids can play doctor, too! Our staff knows that being an advocate for our patients and their families is a fulfilling and rewarding way to share their talents with the community. They want to share their love and passion with you.

Our passion is driven by circumstances where we may save a pet that would not have survived without us; or to be able to help a family pet's health suddenly turn around for a positive outcome. Each and every one of us at Dr. Norm's Westside Animal Hospital strives to provide reliable resources to our clients so they can become more active in their pet's healthcare needs. Through our pursuit of ongoing excellence and by working to build relationships with our clients, we are hoping to continuously learn about the community and any issues regarding pet health care.
